Transcript:
Microsoft recently announced their
mayorana 1 Quantum Computing chip and
I've had a few of you uh reach out to me
and ask what will this actually do and I
realized that's actually a really good
question because when people talk about
Quantum Computing they have these like
piie in the sky it'll do all of these
other things so I wanted to connect the
dots and start based on first principles
what is it that quantum computers
actually do and then we will uh
anticipate the first second and third
order consequences of that and then also
how it will your daily life so for
starters this is the chip you see it
mayorana 1 is the Microsoft's new
Quantum Computing uh chip it uses the
mayorana um firon allegedly although
there's still some some debate out in
the sphere as to whether or not it
actually uses that but they claim that
they've created a new state of matter
which that alone is pretty cool but okay
great you know exotic physics and all
that fun stuff aside what does it
actually mean so let's get into that so
first and foremost the we where where we
really need to start uh is what is it
that Quantum Computing actually does now
after doing some research I found that
these are the five primary things that
Quantum Computing and Quantum algorithms
are actually already being used to do or
can already theoretically do now we
don't necessarily have the right
substrate we don't have quantum
computers that can scale up but these
are things that they can do so number
one is number factoring uh which has
huge huge implications for cryptography
uh Quantum simulation so that's
basically native uh like real world
level simulation of atoms and molecules
so that you basically solve chemistry
complex
optimization uh which is uh Sol
exploring large problem spaces this is
why some people think that Quantum
Computing could help you train AI
instantly which is basically hey you've
got a giant neural network well just
feed the neural network into the quantum
computer and then the neural network is
fully optimized on the other side and
it's basically magic um not actually
magic
but for for us for us mere mortals who
don't understand it it looks like magic
it is completely indistinguishable for
magic um next is unstructured search um
so basically if you have unsorted data
um
that if you if you ever took computer
science you know that sorting algorithms
like some people love them if you're
really really nerdy um but for other
people sorting algorithms are just like
oh why um it's not fun especially if
you're doing it all in linked lists and
directly in C and that sort of thing
anyways some people loved that part of
class I didn't um quantum computers are
really good at that uh next is linear
systems so this is basically massive
massive equations so and in think of
like physics simulations um so rather
than using heris and approximations you
can actually just do the physics math um
at a very very high level and then when
you combine that with the way that
artificial intelligence is going which
is able you know uh basically they're
getting better at math than all humans
then you have a thing that can actually
solve the
equations it's it's lights out for
anything that you want to simulate on
that can if it can be represented by
math it can be solved tldr quantum
computers solve math forever all right
so first order impacts are going to be
stuff like crypto disruption so
basically if you have an encrypted file
you can decrypt it hypothetically that's
one of the first order consequences
which is one of the reasons why uh
Nations like both America and China are
just recording uh encrypted data from
their adversaries because they're like
well we can't decrypt it today but
sooner or later we'll be able to to
decrypt it namely if quantum Computing
comes out now this is a really big deal
and we it will actually feature kind of
centrally in the rest of this video next
is medical acceleration um so drug
development basically you say I need a
molecule that does this find one for me
or design one for me um furthermore you
can also hypothetically feed it in and
say Here's a genetic circuit figure out
what this what this Gene does and figure
out how to fix this Gene defect so you
could hypothetically eventually cure
stuff like Cron's disease we'll talk
more about that that's more of a second
or third order impact but at least
designing a single molecule that's
that's what a medicine is that's what a
drug is it's like I need a molecule that
does this it binds to this receptor and
you know breaks down this protein or
whatever um we've already seen that you
don't actually even need Quantum
Computing for that um with with some of
the the latest gen tools there was um
what was it I think it was was the
latest Thing by Deep Mind was it uh was
it Alpha proteo actually simulated like
500 million years of evolution and
designed A protein that doesn't exist in
nature and it's just like okay cool
didn't even need Quantum for that but
Quantum could probably do it faster or
at least help the process next is stuff
like supply chain so basically one of
the reasons that that you know like the
price of eggs is going up is well B Aven
flu but we could cure Aven flu we could
just cut it off at the source um but
another reason is you know remember when
we had um when we had the tanker get
jacknifed in the canal in the Suez Canal
uh and that like threw global trade into
chaos part of that is because uh
Logistics uh lines are not particularly
optimized um or rather they're over
optimized to the point that they're
brittle um and so there's no resilience
in them anyways my point is is that all
kinds of things in terms of getting
goods and uh materials from from place a
to place B at a global level is an
intractable problem to run um any kind
of centralized management which is why
free markets exist but then you Ena you
Empower free markets with Quantum
Computing and everything gets where it
needs to go and is more resilient
against disruptions um another thing is
data so this is another kind of
orwellian example though is that uh one
of the biggest challenges that
intelligence communities and law
enforcement has today is that there's
more data than uh out there than they
can sift through now of course NSA uh if
you're watching you're probably like ha
that's what you'd like to think um
apparently the NSA had like the biggest
banks of computers since they started
and who knows what they have now anyways
um so you know but at the same at the
same token um it is still an intractable
problem for many many companies and
Nations that want to um that want to
sift through huge amounts of data um in
in many other cas is there's just more
data than you know what to do with um
training AI medical breakthroughs those
sorts of things and then most
interestingly is nuclear fusion with
Advanced physics simulations you can
probably calculate exactly what kind of
magnetic field harmonics you need to
optimize nuclear fusion um so it might
be that you know that uh imagine that
you're playing civilization and it's
like oh you want to invent nuclear
fusion but it'll take you know 800 years
unless you have the the precursor the
prerequisite a technology of quantum
Computing and then it only takes 2 years
so it really could be like from the time
that that quantum computers get deployed
commercially to nuclear fusion is
commercially viable might just be you
know singled digit years um second order
impacts are going to be a little bit
different so uh for for context a second
order impact is saying okay looking at
the constellation of of first first
principal problems that it solves so we
started with what is Quantum Computing
actually do then we said all right first
first order impact is based on what
Quantum Computing actually does what is
the most direct application but then
what are the applications of those
applications or what are the
consequences of those applications so
second order impacts number one is going
to be a security Race So this goes back
to that cryptography thing um there I
haven't verified this but I watched the
Y Files episode so take this with a huge
grain of salt but it's a really great
episode of yfiles talking about like
basically the quantum apocalypse where
there are hypothetically in this in this
world you would actually need paper
records um or or air gapped computers
like if you ever watched Battlestar
Galactica like you know the Galactica
had air gapped computers there's no
networks and everything was analog you
might literally need to live in that
world where like the internet just might
not work um and that could be real bad
we'll cover that a little bit more at
the end of the at the end of the video
but yeah like if if if cryptograph if he
breaks down if we don't have a Quantum
ready internet and so on and so forth I
mean that could be like y 2K realized
and for the younger people in the
audience why 2K was because every
because all the systems were designed
not to have four uh four uh numerals for
the year so it was like you know 89
instead of 1989 a whole bunch of people
were afraid that computers were going to
shut down because they wouldn't know if
it was the year 2000 or year 1900 or
whatever it didn't actually happen my
mom was actually working in it at the
time time and so she was like in the
command center at uh at her company and
nothing happened Y2K didn't actually
happen but Quantum Computing might make
something worse happen probably won't
but just pointing out there now uh going
back to more positive ideas of what will
happen with Quantum Computing Healthcare
Evolution so not just better drugs but
also um you can and I don't know why the
AI always wants to have like oh but it
could be really bad so just ignore this
last part I've been trying to manually
edit out these like oh but creating
uneven access to new treatments no
forget that what this actually does is
it makes all medicines really stupid
cheap um so not only are all medicines
really stupid cheap but you do a little
uh finger prick or cheek swab and then
you have personalized medicine we're
actually on the cusp of having
personalized medicine right now um you
can get methylation tests which
methylation test basically say which
version of this Gene do you have or
which version of this uh epig EP
epigenetic information do you have so we
know oh hey you're more sensitive to
this particular version of this protein
or vitamin or your body doesn't process
this vitamin enough we're going to turn
that up to 11 so basically it'll say um
instead of every drug being like a
single version of a drug it's like oh
hey we actually have like maybe 18 19 20
or 200 different versions of this drug
depending on your exact genotype um
that's the promise of personalized
medicine and we are heading towards that
we're already getting closer to
personalized medicine right now it costs
a lot of money go look at Brian Johnson
Brian Johnson is basically personalized
medicine if you've got the money now but
whatever what Brian Johnson is getting
today will'll all get in 10 15 20 years
or whenever Quantum takes off next up is
Workforce disruption now we already know
that Workforce disruption is coming
anyways due to Ai and automation um but
uh if Ai and robots were not enough then
Quantum Computing is going to invalidate
a whole lot of other jobs it'll probably
create a bunch of new jobs as well just
because it's like oh hey let's just
imagine that that cryptography breaks
and then you need Paper couriers again
right you know hey if you're if you're a
a letter carrier for the US post postal
service like your job might actually be
really secure um because then you might
not want to have a robot doing it
because the robot could get hacked this
is just a little bit out there thinking
but these are the kinds of things that
we actually probably do need to be
thinking about which is okay if you know
you can only trust paper bills right
then like maybe we go back to a cash
based society or gold coins even or
something like that or something that is
physically real proof of personhood will
be even more important but it also might
be unsolvable with Quantum we don't know
yet um and that actually goes to privacy
erosion so this goes this goes back to
if data is encrypted in in today's
standards Quantum can just decrypt it so
you might not have any internet privacy
now a lot of people don't care but you
know
security uh paradigms actually do
require a certain level of saying like
hey there is there is data that someone
has that someone else doesn't have um is
actually that that asymmetry is actually
required for uh various kinds of
functions keeping ledgers and those
sorts of things there's lots of things
that that you don't actually need
privacy for open source development
there's a lot of there are a lot of
benefits to just having uh data
available free and clear but at the same
time um if you don't have some level of
symmetry then anyone can pretend to be
anyone else and that's just bad and then
trust goes down the tubes uh next is qu
is uh is energy grid transformation so
just inventing Fusion is not enough you
also need to get the energy where it
needs to go now beyond that become
Beyond nuclear fusion you can also have
Material Science like better batteries
and better solar panels that are also uh
designed with the aid of quantum
computers so basically we're going to
have Micro grids we're going to have uh
off grids we're going to have Fusion
grids like basically energy becomes
solved with Quantum Computing um and
we'll talk about that more later when we
talk about the economic impacts
personally I think that uh nuclear
fusion and the energy impacts from
Quantum Computing are going to be the
biggest impact to GDP followed closely
by or maybe superseded by space travel
we'll see all right third order impacts
so third order impacts are basically
just saying okay you know we can just as
an example a third order impact of the
invent of electricity is this video
you're watching today electricity
enabled uh you know electric lights okay
that was a first order impact then it
enabled uh longdistance communication
via Telegraph and phone lines that was
the second order impact and then we did
the digital Revolution on top of all
that so that was a third order impact so
watching YouTube and watching me is a
third order impact of the invention of
electricity uh so that's an an example
so a third a potential third order
impact of the invention of quantum
Computing could be number one uh life
extension just plain and simple uh we
achieve indefinite lifespan and someone
asked me what is the difference between
immortality and indefinite lifespan so
the the uh the technical definition of
what we're trying to achieve with
longevity escape velocity is indefinite
lifespan indefinite lifespan basically
means you don't die of natural causes um
it's not immortality CU immortality
basically means it is impossible for you
to die that's not that's not physically
possible at least not in a materialist
standpoint now if you do a lot of
psychedelics or are super spiritual then
you probably believe that you have an IM
an incorporeal IM Immortal component of
the self but when I'm talking about uh
indefinite lifespan I'm talking about
like your your human shell doesn't
expire that's really kind of what we're
looking at so Cur cure all aging cure
all disease um and those sorts of things
next up is space so even if you just
have F nuclear fusion I think that uh I
think the estimates is a is a direct
Fusion torch Drive will get you to Mars
in about 3 months um that's just you
know okay we figure out Fusion we go to
Mars we get we get out of the solar
system we can go catch up with the
Voyager probes in a matter of months
probably or years because you can keep
accelerating uh now if warp drive is is
physically possible Quantum could help
us figure it out um so if you've been
keeping up with the news about you know
uaps and UFOs and those sorts of things
those craft which basically everyone
acknowledges that they exist they
operate by physics that we don't
understand yet um if if we're right then
quantum physics or Quantum Computing
sorry could help us understand how to
make those kinds of craft and if that's
the case then like the whole universe is
not off limits like you know you want to
colonize the Andromeda galaxy go for it
um another third order impact would be
again coming back to this postquantum
security um now it is possible to have
like Quantum ready blockchains and those
sorts of things I think that like salana
and ethereum are working on being
Quantum ready I don't actually know um
and again some of these things are kind
of hard to predict because it's like
well we don't really have the quantum
computers yet to really predict what
they can do um they might they you know
when when Quantum scales we might say
okay it does more than we thought which
would be interesting it might might also
do less than we thought which would be
disappointing um but you know these are
these are things that we need to be
thinking of and again it wouldn't
actually surprise me if we end up in a
in a state where um at least for a brief
period of time we need to have a
paper-based economy and all networks
need to be air gapped um next is a
predictive economy so here's when I talk
about like free markets and kind of what
I talked about with Logistics is uh it's
it's presently an intractable problem to
allocate resources efficiently and so
what you have to do is you just say okay
let's create a market with price signals
so that the market you know that the
hive bra hive mind of the market knows
how much of what goods and resources to
provide at what price because it's
basically an optimization and allocation
problem what I'm basically saying is
that Quantum Computing might invalidate
the need of money and so what I mean by
that is that money right now serves uh
several really important uh functions
coordination function funs namely um uh
storeold of value medium of exchange and
unit of account well if quantum can do
everything that we think and more a
third order impact might be that you
actually don't need the friction of
money it might actually be less
efficient to use money in a Quantum
future um and in that case you just say
okay uh we we look at at every we can
model literally every single human every
every single thing that they want or
need and then we can just give it to
them now
that reduces a lot of other things like
you know okay well what if you want
something that someone else wants
there's only so many Yachts on the world
so it if it doesn't eliminate scarcity
it probably won't eliminate money but we
could eliminate the need for money for
most goods and services like your
electricity or your water or whatever
because no matter how rich you are like
well okay I take that back I was about
to say no matter how rich you are
there's only so much water that you need
but then you see in the news someone
like Kim Kardashian uses like 250,000
gallons of water a month or something
way over her quota um this is due to the
LA fires and those sorts of things so
anyways but this leads to the last point
which is power bifurcation so basically
it could go in one of two ways and it's
B I think I agree with a lot of you that
it would be a bimodal outcome which is
basically uh either we figure it out and
power becomes fully decentralized
forever and we end up with a in a solar
Punk future or we end up in a cyber Punk
dystopian Mega Corp future I don't
really know which way it's going to go
right now because you know when you look
at companies like Microsoft building
these quantum computers the existence of
Corporations is still a net positive to
humanity because they're able to
organize resources um namely labor and
Capital Corp basically my understanding
of why corporations exist and why they
should continue to exist at least for
the foreseeable future is because they
are capable of organizing labor and
capital in a way that otherwise we can't
or organize them to achieve these
Innovations um basically you're not
going to have commercial grade quantum
computers without Google or without
Microsoft now if we get to a point in
the future where you don't need
corporations where Innovation is
actually more efficient without
corporations then we can do away with
the corporations but until then we we
probably can't
unfortunately okay real quick break I
want to plug my link tree so link tree
is right here it's also in the
description um I've got everything up
here from you know my Twitter account my
SoundCloud account um I do make some
some AI music under the the label
Stargazer um I'm on LinkedIn although
LinkedIn is kind of lame right it's
basically it's it's not any it's not
much better than Facebook was before I
deleted my Facebook so anyways go check
it out um look around I've got a whole
I've got all all of my everything up on
there all right back to the
show so we've unpacked what does Quantum
Computing literally do at the base level
at the at the metal level and then first
second and third order consequences but
now I want to paint a picture what is
life actually going to be like in 2050
because it's 2025 right now and
Microsoft is scaling up their first
commercial grade quantum computer uh
Google has Willow so it's coming so
number one is biological Mastery between
nanom medicine uh personalized medicine
genetic editing all that kind of stuff
we will have basically solved all
disease all aging there's not going to
be any old people and i' this is one
that I've been saying is like this is
really probably the most direct thing
that you're going to see is like bald
people that's going to go away gray gray
beards that's going to go away um you
know every now and then Google photo
says like Hey do you remember this trip
that you took 10 years ago and I still
had like you know full color in my beard
and I'm like thanks Google I feel old um
you know that's that's going to go away
and I'm actually kind of glad that I'm
that I'm able to experience this much
aging because I'll be you know like my
nephews my nieces and nephews and stuff
they're never going to get old and so
I'll be like I was old once it sucked
let's never do that
again anyways next up is space
colonization Elon Musk wants to get to
Mars you're not going to really do that
you're not you're not going to
meaningfully colonize Mars with chemical
Rockets I'm sorry at the very least you
need Fusion Rockets um to to make it
practical but also the amount of energy
that you would need to survive on Mars
because
um it gets what a third of the sunlight
or a quarter of the sunlight that Earth
does because it's twice as far away um I
don't remember the exact numbers but it
gets substantially less sunlight so
you're not growing crops effectively on
Mars it's really cold on Mars um you
need to recycle 100% of everything all
of that is really really energy
intensive so if you want to get to Mars
in any meaningful capacity you need
Fusion if you want to survive on Mars in
any meaningful capacity you need fusion
um so quantum Computing I see Quantum
Computing as a prerequisite for uh for
colonizing and exploring space if if
only for Fusion but again if faster than
light travel is possible Quantum
Computing will help us figure that out
next is decentralized world so this is
something that I'm talking about a lot
there's a book called liquid rain that's
re EIG GN so like rain is in like the
rain of a king um that is when people
ask me like what do you think the future
is going to be like um at least on on
the ground level I think that liquid
rain is the best uh fictional example of
what the year 20 I think it takes place
in 2052 looks like um so I definitely
recommend that book it was written by
someone who is not a writer it was
written by a guy who's an economist um
he's a friend of a friend actually um
and also English is not his first
language so there are a bunch of typos
and other grammatical things it's like
dude why didn't you hire an editor
anyways it's very it's extraordinarily
well resarch searched uh work of fiction
um it it explores everything from Full
dive VR to you know postquantum uh uh
blockchain Ubi everything so go read
that book tldr read liquid rain if you
want to figure out what life in 2050
might be like for you uh next is
predictive efficiency so this this kind
of goes back to like the the the machine
the market just says Dave needs this and
so you know you you open your door and
it's like you know the the iroot says
like here you know you ordered this and
it's like I didn't order that yet it's
like you would have in 3 days um because
we figured out what you needed and I'm
like cool thanks I didn't know I needed
that and it's like that's the point so
Amazon Quantum that's probably a service
coming if I had to guess Jeff Bezos if
you're watching you're welcome um
anyways moving on so power distribution
this again goes back to that elisium
model so if you ever watch that Matt
Damon movie elisium where it's basically
the elites just say you know what Earth
is is is a polluted toxic dump we're
just going to rule from you know a Dyson
ring or whatever it was called um it a
big Big Wheel in the
Sky that's one possibility although
honestly like the more I think about it
it's like why control earth when if you
have that much technology where you can
go somewhere else why wouldn't all the
elites and billionaires just go
somewhere else be like oh we'll just
we'll just set up our own you know Gul
Gulch somewhere else um that's that's
really kind of like Anne Ran's dream
realized is not actually setting it up
in a valley somewhere but getting off
and going to another planet so maybe
we'll just find Elon Musk on another
galaxy you know a billion years from now
um one can only hope all right anyways
now as we uh wind down this video I want
to talk about a couple things so uh I
really wanted to focus on like what are
the impacts that you and I would feel
rather than more like pie in the sky
handwavy stuff but I do also want to
talk about like what is the economic
pull here so um oh also this entire
slide deck was was brainstormed with
grock 3 um grock 3 for brainstorming
is like orders of magnitude better than
any other model I've used um it just
fully replaced Sonet in my in my daily
workflows so we we were brainstorming
and I was like okay what is like if we
if we had to break down a pi a pie chart
of the impact that Quantum Computing
will have a 100 years from now this is
what we came up with Fusion in space 40%
% of of the GDP growth that Fusion or
that Quantum does will come from these
two so Quantum optimize Fusion reactors
space travels that will generate
literally quintili of dollars in human
GDP I'm not going to say Global GDP
because we're going to be multiplanetary
so when I'm like it goes beyond
trillions of dollars it goes beyond
quadrillions of dollars we're talking
quintili of dollars worth of GDP that's
going to be added just by Fusion alone
but you combine that with space travel
and it's just like that's you know the
entire economy of Earth today is going
to be a drop in the bucket it's going to
be like a nasal spray not even a drop
it'll be a nasal spray in terms of
compared to the GDP that we will have in
the future next is Healthcare life
extension disease elimination that kind
of thing the amount of of total GDP that
that's going to add to humanity again in
the long run incalculable because guess
what the universe is really really big
and there's a lot of planets to come col
unless the aliens come up and say
actually we're going to keep you in your
cage I don't think that's going to
happen but it could anyways we're going
to need a lot more humans to populate
the entire universe so yeah and if
humans keep dying that really kind of
puts a hamper on that whole expanding
across the cosmos thing next is supply
chain optimization I don't know why Gro
is really obsessed with supply chain
optimization but on the same time you
know coordinating markets and
coordinating economies that is a really
big deal like it's kind of boring at
least to me but I I know people that
love that kind of stuff um you know like
if the trains always get there on time
if the if the if you're if your uh you
know starf riters get there on time
great that will uh that will definitely
improve the economy next is quantum
security honestly I would have thought
that this would have been a bigger thing
but grock says no it's it's going to be
a little bit smaller this is like the
substrate this is like you know the
internet you just want the internet to
work um but it's really the business
that happens on the Internet is what you
really want to see happening um and then
finally AI uh enhancement so this is
going to be like you know AI is its own
thing but Quantum will uh improve Ai and
by the way AI will probably also improve
Quantum so you're going to have a little
bit of a of a virtuous cycle there
between Ai and Quantum but in terms of
real impact in terms of something that
physically uh exists not just in in data
um Fusion space Healthcare those are
going to be the biggest impacts in terms
of of total GDP so this is why companies
like Microsoft and Google are investing
billions into Quantum Computing all
right so uh let's get real weird let's
take this and just run with it uh for
let's let's call it fourth order
consequences number one accelerated
Evolution um like I said we've already
got an AO AI That's simulating millions
of years of evolution on an individual
protein level but imagine if we could
simulate millions or billions of years
of evolution on an organism or species
level that is not outside of the realm
of possibility so it's like imagine you
say okay hey you know humans need to
live on Mars so why don't we just
simulate a billion years of human
evolution on Mars see what comes out and
then change our bodies to be like that
so any planet that you need to go live
on you want to go live underwater
simulate as if you know like just as a
as a thought experiment simulate a
billion and a half years of evolution
imagining that it's like you know um did
you ever watch that movie Waterworld I
think it was a Kevin Cosner movie it was
the most expensive movie ever made until
Lord of the Rings came out a few years
later anyways humans had started
evolving gills behind their ears
Evolution doesn't happen that fast but
with Quantum it probably could um next
is full cyberization so this this this
is a shout out to all my Ghost in the
Shell fans out there um basically if you
can recreate the human body but
perfectly designed with machines and
nanomaterials and metam materials you
can probably get rid of your body as it
is um and I don't I don't I don't mean
ship of thes is replacing you know a
neuron with a fake neuron I mean like
fullon meta materials that are like
you're not even thinking about it right
um with full cyberization next is Enter
the Matrix full dive VR that kind of
thing which is like you could have full
dive VR that is more real than real and
wouldn't this break your brain what if
you're already in a full dive VR session
right now like that Rick and Morty
episode and you've forgotten that you're
actually some person playing a game of
your life I would have picked a
different game um I think unless I
wanted to go through it on hard mode but
anyways next is mind uploading so this
is one that I'm still really skeptical
of because we don't really know what a
mind is um a mind could be like a soul
that's operating out here you know kind
of um not really coupled to the current
level um but then what if the mind is
just matter I don't
know I I'm I'm very skeptical of Mind
uploading and then finally machine
telepathy so telepathy there we go so if
you have Quantum enabled neural networks
that are entangled with each other then
you could literally share a mind with
anyone that you wanted to which is like
that weird scene from Demolition Man um
so anyways if you know you
know finally I want to just wrap up with
what what's going to happen if this
comes out quickly and this is kind of
like the worst case scenario like I said
I don't really think that this is going
to happen but I call it the great
disintegration um if quantum Computing
comes out and it becomes widely
available and it destroys cryptography
as we know it the internet melts down
you you basically you know everything
you wake up one day the internet just
doesn't work right like your phone stops
working the internet stops working um
only analog stuff or or digital stuff
that is not connected to the internet
still works all Digital Services could
hypothetically collapse the next the the
the next consequence of that is the
financial systems all banking systems
fail um because they all rely on
high-speed uh digital transactions if
you can't trust any digital transactions
your credit card stops working
everything stops working privacy uh
becomes a thing of the past and this is
not just you know corporate Espionage
this this is National Espionage this is
privacy at every level for every for
everyone unless of course you've got air
gap systems or paper filing systems um
next is global trade if you can't
communicate globally you can't Bank
globally guess what global trade also
collapses that means made in China gone
made in Brazil gone it if it's not made
locally and and driven to you with a
with a a diesel burning truck then it
probably won't get to you and then
finally um if all of this collapses then
you're going to end up with a very very
fragmented um kind of compartmentalized
Society where it's like you basically
your town is going to want to be as
self-sufficient as possible now am I
saying that that that this is an outcome
that I think is likely no I don't really
think that this outcome is likely but it
is still within the realm of possibility
and so I think it Bears it's worth
talking about all right I hope you got a
lot out of this I know I tried to put a
lot into this because this was a lot of
research um into one video but thanks
for watching to the end and I'll see you
next time for
